The French are very fond of entertaining via the Apéro or Apéro-Dinatoire - their equivalent of the American Cocktails but delivered with its usual Gallic flare. Learn how to throw a classy evening soirée without slaving in the kitchen all day.

Join us for an evening of wine and amuse-bouches and learn how to pair your wines with classic French appetizers.

You will be sampling:

  • 6 savoury amuse-bouche: gougère, foie gras navette, tuna rillettes canapé, saucisson, vegetable crudité & mayonnaise, bacon & prune bouchée
  • 4 sweet amuse-bouches: financier, fruits brochette, chocolate bouchée, tarte au citron
  • 4 wines: 2 dry white burgundys; 2 red burgundys

Instructor: lène Goble comes from a wine-producing family in Bordeaux and organizes wine tasting events and annual wine tours of the Bordeaux area. As well as presenting wines, she will introduce you to the French “savoir-vivre”. She is a graduate of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust in London.

Deadline for registration: Monday, March 25.
