FULL - Call Office for Waitlist

Wine with meals in France is de rigueur, but with the seasonally changing menus and the wide range of dishes, which wines should you serve with your dishes?  We all know the standard ‘White wine with fish; Red wine with beef’ rule,  but how can we pair the proper  wine with our dishes that will really enhance our eating experience.

Learn the basics of how the wine characteristics enhance or detract from classic French dishes.  This class will focus on seasonal (Winter) dishes so that you can test your new skills with your next meal.

Join us for an evening tasting session which will include:

1 Entrée: Fish Terrine

2 Plats: Quiche Lorraine, Boeuf Bourguignon.

1 Dessert: Winter Fruits salad & Chocolate Truffles

5 Wines: 2 dry white Burgundys, 2 red Bordeaux, & 1 sweet Bordeaux

Instructor: Hélène Goble comes from a wine-producing family in Bordeaux and organizes wine tasting events and annual wine tours of the Bordeaux area. As well as presenting wines, she will introduce you to the French “savoir-vivre” . She is a graduate of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust in London.

Deadline for registration: Tuesday, February 19.
